The Process
Every client starts with a FREE Initial Consultation, which lasts approximately 1 hour. During this session I gather some information about what you would like help with and then help you understand why you are feeling as you do by relating it to what is going on in your brain.
I'll also explain how hypnotherapy can help you and will put your mind at ease with any queries you might have regarding hypnosis and trance. This session can be a real 'light bulb' moment for many clients, where they understand for the first time why they are feeling as they do and that they can do something about it. No formal therapy takes place during this session but we will spend time getting to know each other, set some expectations and discuss what will happen in future sessions.
There is no obligation to book any further sessions , you can decide if it's something that feels right for you
Sessions will usually be weekly and last between 50 mins and 1 hour in duration. 8-12 sessions is usually enough for clients to feel on top of things again but this can vary depending on individual client needs.
Following the Initial Consultation, I will send you my 'guided relaxation' audio for you to listen to every night before bed. This is an important part of therapy and helps get your sleep patterns working more efficiently. Clients that listen to the audio in between sessions respond a lot quicker to therapy and really notice a difference.
The first half of every session follows a structured psychotherapy format and will be spent ensuring you are functioning in the correct part of your brain for positive change to take place. We do this by focusing on the positives, brain revision, scaling and the Miracle Question.
The second half of the session is hypnosis, which for many clients is a lovely relaxed state leaving them feeling energised, inspired and in a great frame of mind. We often refer to our state of mind during hypnosis as trance, this is a totally normal experience and we all go in and out of it many times during our daily lives
Depending on the individual, some clients like to come fortnightly or monthly for a period before stopping.
Many feel like they can just stop, as they have strategies in place. The aim of therapy is to give you the skills and tools so you feel
like you can cope with life better and know what to do for the best for yourself!
Some people carry on listening to the audio every night, some as they feel they need it- it’s personal preference.
Clients can come back for one-off top up sessions whenever- this is especially true for equestrian/sports performance.

Initial Consultation: free
Pay as you go sessions £80
Block of 6 sessions £400
Specific phobias Initial Consultation: free, followed by 3 further sessions at £210
Smoking/vaping cessation: single 2 hour session £250

Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash and must be paid before the first session.
Block bookings are non refundable. 48 hours cancellation or full price will be charged.
