Will the hypnotherapist have control over my mind?
The therapist cannot make a client do anything against their will as they will remain fully in control at all times. It is an interaction whereby the therapist guides the client into a state of deep relaxation to bring about positive change. Stage hypnosis for comedy purposes and entertainment is completely different from hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy can help clients to explore memories and make sense of things but it won't retrieve new memories.

What if I can't be hypnotised?
